Overlap is a show and tell night for animators and animation lovers to share ideas and hang out.
These events take place quarterly, and include special guests alongside an array of local talent. The optional prompt for next months show is sass, so expect a quirky night with fun performances thrown in the mix.
Tamsyn paid a visit to last February’s event and thoroughly enjoyed herself. We’re excited to attend again in a couple of weeks!

Remembering Benjamin Zephaniah
We were deeply saddened by the death of Benjamin Zephaniah back in December. I fondly remember my mum showing me a performance of Talking Turkeys when I was 10 and have been inspired by his work ever since. I know he was a big inspiration to a lot of my favourite artists too; see his conversation with Loyle Carner here.
He touched so many lives, which was evident in the wake of his passing and the influx of tributes that flooded social media. This article celebrates his life beautifully and I hope it encourages you to look back at some of the incredible work he shared with the world throughout his time with us.
