Book to attend Elijah: Create The Ting
8pm, Thursday 22nd February
Hockley Social Club, 60 Hampton Street, B19 3LU
Elijah brings his lecture Close The App, Make The Ting to Birmingham for the first time next month and we highly recommend paying a visit if you're a local creative.
We’ve followed Elijah’s Yellow Square work over the past couple of years and have often found his approach to creativity a huge motivational boost during times when inspiration has been hard to come by.
At this event, you can expect an evolving discussion on process and ecosystems in the DIY music and wider creative scenes. Elijah will present his core ideas on becoming an artist and elevating careers before a Q&A to finish.

Wesley Joseph Just Knows Highs
Midlands-raised artist Wesley Joseph recorded his debut album in an Alpine log cabin in La Tzoumaz, Switzerland in May, 2023.
Here, Carhartt WIP document the moment, providing cinematic imagery alongside dialogue with Joseph, who breaks down the experience and provides details of the recording process.
I'm always captivated by his work, so found heaps of inspiration from this article and I hope you do, too. Props to Francis Plummer for capturing such beautiful images for this one!
