Go to Sum Cellar's event at The Rainbow
Friday 31st March, 9pm - 3am
The Rainbow, 160 High Street, Bordesley, B12 0LD
Sum Cellar claim that ‘the dirty parties are making a comeback!’ - and we hope they're right.
Continuing to bring the noise to the cellar of The Rainbow, this rave, titled ‘Make Digbeth S*** Again’ is due to be a very hazy throwback to the club's early days.
Expect Garage, Speedy G, Breaks, 140 and a bloody good night out!

Picture This
Hollybank Road in Billesley, taken in February this year.
A little bit moody, very grey but still maintaining a level of class and style that is wholeheartedly unique. A description that could depict Birmingham as a city just as much as it does this image alone. Great framing by Ed here!

Read 'Second City Blues', an article by Nathalie Olah
Writing about her hometown in response to I Don’t Want to Go to the Taj Mahal and Bolt from the Blue, Olah reflects on two relatable tales of growing up and leaving Birmingham.
Both provide moving accounts of the snobbery and misunderstanding directed at Brummies by Britain's social elite.
It sparked a steady stream of thoughts in my head, leading to a wider conversation on our identity as Brummies with my family and friends.
Give it a read for yourself, and if you have the time - we definitely recommend both books referenced!
