Go to the Neighbourhd Brum event
📆 Monday 1st May, 7:30pm
📍 The Night Owl, 17-18 Lower Trinity Street, Deritend, B9 4AG
The vision at Neighbourhd is to bring budding musicians and fans of progressive, soulful music in Birmingham together and empower them. They pride themselves on an environment in which people feel they can be their unfiltered-selves alongside an ever-growing, diverse community.
This ‘formal but improvised’ jam night has been described as buoyant, original and innovative by friends of mine who have attended in the past and I can’t wait to experience it myself!
It’s free entry with a pay as you feel approach and all donations go towards the growth of the movement. See you on the dance floor!

As each day brightens and lasts a little longer, it felt the right moment to share these images taken by Horticulturist at the Botanical Gardens, Chris Howell.
Chris is very dedicated to his job and often shares pictures of the exotic plants and flowers from the Gardens online. I thought I’d share some of my recent favourites, in the hope of providing some Spring-time joy!
