Attend Páirc Festival
12pm - 10:30pm, 26th August - 27th August
The Irish Centre, 205 Wheelers Lane, King's Heath, B13 0ST
A celebration of Irish music and culture; the biggest Irish music festival in the UK takes place in Birmingham this weekend and we highly recommend popping down!
Van Morrison, The Waterboys, Mary Black and more take to the stage, while the site is loaded with Guinness and real ale trucks and a great selection of street food vendors.
It’s no camping - so no fuss! If you’re local, it’s as simple as a walk/taxi down to B14. Make the most of the bank holiday weekend, we’re praying the weather holds out!

The A38 has never looked so cinematic; a beautifully angled shot by Stennet Bsam, captured earlier this year.
Wouldn’t like to be stuck in that traffic, mind!

Explore Babmag's Creative Faces project
Last year, Babmag commissioned photographer Ash Charles to capture the magic of Birmingham’s creative scene via a series of portraits featuring local makers and doers.
56 ‘creative faces’ were profiled for the project, all shot on various film stocks and cameras in a variety of different spots around the city and used to create a visual hub on their site, recognising each person for their individual talents.
Use this as a chance to discover new musicians, videographers, clothing stores, designers and more, or learn something new about some familiar faces!
