You’ll know by now that we’re huge fans of John Madin’s brutalist Central Library and still haven’t quite come to terms with it being knocked down!
However, this shot by @jag_dhesi captures an inescapable beauty in its replacement. Complemented by the dreamy lightstream, the architectural design dazzles, bringing us one step closer to embracing modernity. 😆

Watch Sir Spyro's Birmingham set at BE83 featuring local MC's
Three years ago, internationally renowned producer, radio host and DJ, Sir Spyro, touched down at Birmingham’s prestigious BE83 studios for a set that has since gone down in Birmingham rap history.
You’ll find an exciting display of talent from a multitude of generations of MC’s in these 40 minutes, no wonder it’s racked up over half a million views! The city has long been a pioneering force in British Grime, famously flying the flag in the genre’s mainstream downtime between its birth and breakthrough, and the regeneration in 2014. Some of the best in the city took part here, making it a must watch for any Grime fan!
