Book to see Peace at the Town Hall
Saturday 4th November, 7:30pm
Birmingham Town Hall, Victoria Square, B3 3DQ
After a five year hiatus, the B-Town heroes returned this Spring as a duo, with new album, Utopia, available to stream via their secret website.
The record is still not commercially available; the only way to currently gain access is to buy a ticket for their tour. So if, like us, you’ve eagerly awaited new Peace material, we suggest you act fast.
We have fond memories of moshing to the drop in 1998 and screaming the bass solo in World Pleasure across many venues in the Midlands. If you didn’t catch them in the past, we highly recommend doing so in a few weeks; they put on an incredible show!

How peaceful a place does it look compared to the current chaos of the high street?! Ah, how we miss the simpler times. 😅

Watch this video of a drive around Birmingham in the early 1950s
Constantly knocking down and rebuilding the city centre affects our identity as much as our skyline. This POV view of Brum 60 years ago is mesmerising, however, I struggled to recognise a lot of the locations shown.
Some claim that Birmingham struggles to thrive on a core identity like other major cities and I wonder if the changes that greet each generation often leave us struggling to identify with our hometown because our surroundings are either brand new or what once was, now no longer exists. What do you think? How much did you recognise from this video? Reply to this email and let us know.
