Book to experience Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon at Thinktank's planetarium
Shows run until Saturday 23rd March
Thinktank, Millennium Point, Curzon Street, B4 7XG
This iconic album turned 50 last year, and what better way to celebrate than to experience it with surround sound and stunning 360° visuals.
Each song has a different theme; some futuristic and some a retro acknowledgment to Pink Floyd’s visual history, all relating to time and space, embracing up to the minute technology that only a planetarium can offer.
This promises to be a truly immersive and all-encompassing event; one that transcends reality, taking you way beyond the realms of a 2D experience!

Watch Noisey Birmingham: The Unstoppable Rise of Birmingham Rap
A celebration of the rap scene and multiculturalism in Birmingham; Mike Skinner plays host, meeting and conversing with the city’s biggest MC’s, taking us through their journey from local youth clubs to some of the world’s biggest stages.
Watching recently, nearly six years since its release, I found it interesting to compare each artists’ career development in that time and questioned who would feature if Noisey were to revisit the city’s rap scene now.
It’s a strong reminder that community and collaboration both play a huge part in the success of a city’s creative scene.
