Attend The Collective's event at Artum
Friday 10th November, 9pm - 2am
Artum, Hockley Social Club, 60 Hampton Street, B19 3LU
Bringing you the best up and coming DJ’s and artists influencing the culture, The Collective provide the ultimate vibes with a range of deep house, UK garage, hip hop, amapiano and more.
Their aim is to connect like minded individuals in a non-judgemental zone, allowing personalities to thrive and emotions to be felt in their purest form.
Their last event at Artum was aptly titled The Movie, and it’s only right that this weeks follow up is branded The Sequel; a night to remember is certainly on the cards.

Andy Smart explored Birmingham in a quest to find Comic Sans used on public signage. His deep love of the font sparked this creative journey and although he was unsuccessful in his mission - sort it out urban planners/architectural types, he cried! - this resulting collection of images is a nod to some other favourable typefaces around town. Great spots, Andy!

Listen to Sipho's new album, Prayers and Paranoia
Sipho stands at the forefront of a new generation of Brummie talent, leading the city into the musical spotlight once again. His debut album, Prayers & Paranoia arrived on 27th October and I’ve had it on repeat since.
A beautiful blend of genres, the Dirty Hit star references his pop, rock and soul influences effortlessly across the projects 13 tracks. If you’re unfamiliar with Sipho’s work, I highly recommend this album and it’s preceding EP’s, And God Said… and She Might Bleed; I haven’t heard a voice as powerful as his in a very long time.
