Intrigued by the magic of theatre? The Rep are giving you a chance to explore what goes on behind the curtain this Autumn, opening up parts of the building not usually seen by the public.
During the 90 minute tour, you’ll visit the workshop and wardrobe department to experience how sets are created and characters brought to life. No promises, but there’s a chance you may bump into a few actors!
This is a unique experience; an opportunity to learn about an industry that’s entertained the world for centuries.

These dramatic colours almost make the idea of the nights drawing in over the next couple of months bearable! 😅

Watch this short documentary on The Rum Runner
During its heyday, The Rum Runner was the place to be for any self respecting New Romantic. Icons of the era Boy George, Midge Ure and Marc Almond all passed through its doors, with Londoners regularly making the trek up our way to see what the hype was all about.
Local superstars Duran Duran were synonymous with the club, regularly rehearsing, performing and DJing there. When they weren’t playing, they could even be seen even glass collecting and manning the door!
Sadly, the club was demolished in 1987 to make way for the Hyatt Regency Hotel, but you can relive those wild nights for five minutes by watching this video.
